Her skills include important aspects of a successful conference or meeting such as site selection, negotiations with hotels, conference centers, and other vendors, agenda development, speaker coordination, and local transportation scheduling. Kim has earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation and is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the premier organization devoted to the educational and professional needs of leaders in the meeting industry, and the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), the premier educator, professional resources and champion for the meetings and conventions community. Kim has worked with organizations including ERDAS, Inc., ABB Process Automation, Inc, Ernst & Young, and others in planning and managing their meetings, conferences, and trade shows not only in the United States, but around the globe, including conferences in Helsinki (Finland), Oslo (Norway), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Hong Kong (China), Paris (France), Madrid and Barcelona (Spain), London (England), and Calgary and Vancouver (Canada).
